These include a front windscreen, revised riding position, panniers, and wire-spoke wheels. A removable ‘2-Up High Bolster’ pillion seat also sits between water-resistant soft saddlebags with 36.6-litres of stowage capacity. To make it more touring capable, Indian have fitted it with even more pushed-back handlebars and feet-forward boards, unlike the pegs on the standard Chief. It continues to offer an accessible 665mm of seat height.

Other than these changes that have added 31kg, bringing the total weight to 335kg, the performance aspects remain the same.

The Super Chief Dark Horse continues to use a 1890cc, Thunderstroke 116 V-twin engine that churns out 155Nm of torque at 3300rpm with a six-speed gearbox and final belt drive. As for features, the motorcycle comes with three ride modes- Tour, Standard and Sport as well as cruise control, Ride Command TFT display that gets Bluetooth and built-in navigation. Colours on offer are Black Metallic and Moss Green- both with blacked-out finish for the engine and exhaust.
