2025 KTM 790 Adventure

Now, for 2025 the KTM 790 Adventure comes with significant updates over the previous generation and borrows components from the 890 ADV. It gets adjustable 43mm WP Apex open cartridge forks for the front and a WP Apex monoshock at the rear. The front end features a split function that separates rebound and compression between the two forks with adjusters on the cap for each fork. This would result in a much more accurate setup for different rider styles on and off-road. Conversely, the rear shock offers 200mm of travel and features a rebound damping adjuster and a remote adjuster for the spring preload.

Powering the new 790 Adventure is a liquid-cooled twin-cylinder 799cc motor that pushes out 94bhp and 86.79Nm of torque. Braking duties are done by dual four-piston calipers at the front and a two-piston caliper with single disc at the rear. Tech features have also gotten a boost with a new Rally mode alongside the off-road riding mode. Then there is the ABS and MTC as well.

While KTM is yet to release pricing internationally, it is expected to be much cheaper than the 890 Adventure R. That said, we can expect it to be launched in New Zealand and Australia early next year.
