- 2025 KTM 790 Duke unveiled
- Gets added tech and a slight design update
- Could be launched in NZ and AUS soon
KTM has updated the 790 Duke for 2025 and launched it in select international markets. The motorcycle gets a few updates for the new model year to keep it on par with its competition, namely the Honda CB650R and Yamaha MT-07.
One of the major changes is the addition of the new five-inch TFT screen, which is bigger in size and boasts better resolution. The unit offers Bluetooth connectivity and a USB-C type charging port. Its feature list has also been updated, and it now lists five ride modes: Rain, Street, Sport, Track, and Performance. It also gets a lean-sensitive traction control system, ABS and bi-directional quickshifter.
Another update is the introduction of the controversial Demo mode. With this, all modes are available for the first 1500km. After that, these are locked and the customer would have to pay to keep them and use the high-performance modes. Nonetheless, KTM has tweaked the design a bit with a sharper headlight cowl. The 2025 790 Duke also gets new colours- Black Orange and All Black.
Other than these changes, the 2025 790 Duke remains the same. Powering the motorcycle is a 799cc, parallel-twin motor that puts out 105bhp and 87Nm. While we can expect KTM to launch the new 790 in New Zealand and Australia, its launch timeline is yet to be known.
