- Gets new colour schemes
- Subtle changes to tech
- It could be launched in NZ soon
Suzuki has unveiled the 2025 Hayabusa with subtle changes for the new model year. To begin with, it gets three new colour schemes. These are called Metallic Matte Green with Metallic Matte Titanium Silver, Glass Sparkle Black and Metallic Mystic Silver with Pearl Vigor Blue.
And while the brand has been updating the Hayabusa with new paint options over the last few years, it has also added revisions to its tech for the new model year. Now, the Hayabusa’s launch control system has been tweaked for more linearity and control while the smart cruise control system does not cancel out when the gears are shifted.
Other than these changes, the Suzuki Hayabusa remains the same mechanically., It continues to be powered by the same 190bhp and 142Nm producing 1340cc, inline-four motor. This engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch and quickshifter. Its electronic wizardry is comprehensive and includes power modes, engine brake control, launch control, speed limiter, hill hold, cruise control and ABS. Suspension hardware is sourced from KYB while braking is done by Brembo calipers at both ends.
We can expect Suzuki to launch the 2025 Hayabusa in New Zealand early in the year as it has already been introduced in other international markets.
