Triumph produces an iconic limited edition Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition to celebrate partnership.

We should have seen it already, but with Covid-19 leading to the cancelling of almost all new cinema releases we’ve had to wait a while longer to see Bond putting a Triumph Scrambler through its paces in the next instalment of the franchise – No Time To Die.

To celebrate this iconic collaboration, Triumph has released the first ever official motorcycle directly linked to the Bond Franchise.

The Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition is an ultra-rare, limited edition Scrambler 1200 motorcycle featuring a unique 007 design scheme and limited to a production of just 250 models worldwide. This special Bond Edition motorcycle was inspired by the incredible custom Scrambler 1200 action vehicles featured in No Time To Die and has all of the top-specification Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE’s exceptional performance and capability, together with premium higher-value details.

A unique design scheme will show everyone you’re a fan of 007

Along with a unique James Bond design scheme, the limited edition Scrambler will also get premium 007 bodywork, including a special exhaust number board and lower side panel finished with 007 branding, a premium real leather seat with embroidered logo and a unique Bond TFT instrument startup screen. There is a distinctive 007 paint scheme inspired by the bike ridden by James Bond in the twenty-fifth film, set off with Blacked-out finishes, including black anodized rear and high-level front mudguard, elegant black forks, high-value engine badges with gold accents, black powder coated swingarm and sprocket cover and black anodized grab rail, sump guard and infills.

The production run on the 007 version will be limited to 250 units worldwide, with each featuring a numbered edition plaque and unique badging and will come with a special Bond handover pack.

Scrambler 1200 XE

The Scrambler 1200 XE is the fully-spec’d version of Triumph’s line-up, with the powerplant featuring category leading torque and a dedicated ‘scrambler tune’. The charismatic 270° firing interval ensures a smooth, linear power delivery from the slick six-speed gearbox. Evolved specifically for the Scrambler, the 1200 engine provides 89 HP @ 7,400 rpm, and additionally, is tuned to deliver ‘high torque’ off-road and on, low down and across the mid-range, with peak torque of 81.1 LB-FT at a low 3,950 rpm.

Delivering the Scrambler soundtrack is a beautifully crafted twin high-level exhaust system with stainless steel headers and an Arrow silencer with carbon fiber end caps for a deep punchy scrambler sound.

Just like all the new generation Bonnevilles, the Scrambler 1200 engine offers leading modern classic capability with ride-by-wire, as well as a sensitively incorporated liquid cooling system for enhanced performance and cleaner, more fuel efficient riding.

The XE features Triumph’s 2nd generation TFT instruments which feature a stylish design and two information layout design themes that can be personalised. There’s six riding modes to choose from including Off-Road Pro for when you want to perform your best James Bond stunts, and there’s cornering ABS and traction control supported by a IMU for when you run out of Bond skills on the road.

TFT screen will feature a special Bond start-up and will be able to control the various gadgets any secret agent requires i.e. GPS, phone and Go Pro!

All LED lighting including a cool DRL (daytime running light) add to the look while keyless ignition will help when you forget to get your key out of the tuxedo. Heated grips as standard will keep your hands soft for caressing the ladies in typical Bond style, while cruise control will enable you to take aim at the bad guys without worrying about the throttle.

And Q will love the Scrambler, with the My Triumph Connectivity System and App allowing you to link your smartphone to the Triumph and seamlessly enable phone call and music operation, turn-by-turn navigation, and GoPro control – all accessed via the switch cubes and displayed on the TFT screen. We imagine there’ll also be an ejector seat function if Q Branch has had their way…

Contact your local Triumph dealer if you think you’d prefer your Scrambler ‘shaken, not stirred.’
