The Kawasaki Versys 1000 is expected to get an overhaul with an all-new model. The Japanese manufacturer has filed documents in Australia to homologate a new Versys 1100.

While the filings don’t reveal much details or the displacement of the new motorcycle, here is what we know. The model homologation is codenamed KLZ1100B and is filed for an ‘S’ version. This would ideally sit between the standard and SE versions in most markets. Now, the Australian market only has the Versys 1000 S on sale, hence the filing.

That said, we can also expect the bigger engine to make its way to other models like the Ninja 1000. Now we won’t have to wait long for the Versys 1100 as the manufacturer is likely to showcase it at the EICMA 2024.
