All new Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 electric motorcycle unveiled!

The Flying Flea C6 is Royal Enfield ‘s first ever electric motorcycle that has been unveiled at the EICMA 2024

  • It is the first Royal Enfield EV
  • It uses an aluminium frame and magnesium battery casing
  • More details to be revealed soon

The Flying Flea C6 looks exactly like the design patents that were leaked a while ago and sports a minimal design. In a attire inspired from the original bike with the same name, the C6 comes with a round LED headlamp, a curvy ‘tank’ and a floating pillion seat. The bright neon yellow and black colour in which it was showcased at the EICMA seems like a contrast to its retro-ness. However, the British green colour looks appropriate.

The electric motorcycle is built around an aluminium frame and has a magnesium battery casing that offers better heat management and reduces weight. It gets a circular TFT screen that is Bluetooth enabled and electronics like a traction control system and cornering ABS. Since these rider aids are a first on any Royal Enfield motorcycle, we could soon see them offered on other models.

While Royal Enfield hasn’t revealed any battery and spec details, they are clear that the C6 is an urban motorcycle. We can expect a decent range of around 130km on a full charge. And knowing Royal Enfield, the range is likely to differ with a selection of variants.

Royal Enfield has announced a 2026 launch for the Flying Flea C6 so it is likely to reveal more details closer to the date.
