• To be powered by a 450cc, parallel-twin
  • Comes loaded with features and weighs 175kg
  • To be produced from 2025
BMW F 450 GS Concept

The F 450 GS looks like a mix of the R 1300 GS and F 850 GS in terms of styling. While the front end with the signature ‘X’ shaped LED is from the bigger ADV, the flat seat and petite rear section are from the 850. Nonetheless, the 450 GS looks purposeful. Its chassis has been built from scratch and so is the 450cc, twin-cylinder engine that it will come with. The unit will offer 48bhp with punchy low-end performance.

As for components, the BMW F 450 GS Concept uses fully adjustable USD suspension and a rear shock with load-dependent damping. It is said to weigh around 175kg, giving it an impressive power-to-weight ratio. Moreover, the adventure motorcycle would also come loaded with features like lean-sensitive ABS, ride modes, and a 6.5-inch TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity.

The motorcycle, with its power output, is aimed at the A2/LAMS license category and will be priced between the G 310 GS and F800. That said, BMW has announced that the motorcycle will go into production in 2025. We can expect the final version to be offered in two variants—one similar to the concept and the other with cast aluminium wheels and an accessible seat height.
