- CFMoto’s 749cc four-cylinder bike in the pipeline
- Gets styling similar to 675SR
- Could be launched later in 2025
We were among the first to test out the CFMoto 675SR recently launched in New Zealand. Now, reports suggest that the Chinese two-wheeler manufacturer is working on another motorcycle in the same superbike format- the 750SR.
The pictures of the CFMoto 750SR were revealed thanks to a type-approval document from China, so now we know what it looks like. Well, for starters, it is similar to the 675SR, although beefier. The large winglets, chunky tail section, single-sided swingarm and the twin pipes sticking out (like the CFMoto 800NK) add tremendous appeal.
Now, the document revealed that the engine, which is a 749cc, four-cylinder mill is codenamed ‘472MV’. And while the power is listed as 110bhp, it is fair to believe that the engine is still in the nascent stages of development and the production version would be more powerful. Other details that have come up include its top speed of 230kmph, kerb weight of 213kg and tyre sizes- 120/70-17 for the front and 180/55-17 for the rear. Its list of features includes traction control, dual-channel ABS, rear-wheel lift control and ride modes. CFMoto will also fit the 750SR with USD forks and Brembo radially-mounted calipers with cooling ducts.
We can expect the motorcycle to fit CFMoto’s line-up between the 675SR and the 1000cc V4 platform the brand unveiled at the EICMA. That said, the exact launch timeline for the 750SR is unknown but it is possible to make it to global markets later in 2025.
