- 2025 Sportster S revealed
- Gets new suspension and colours
- Could be launched in NZ soon
Harley-Davidson has unveiled the 2025 edition of its muscular street cruiser- the Sportster S. The new model receives minor tweaks overall, but the most significant is a new suspension setup.
The new suspension, which consists of a Show piggyback reservoir shock is fully adjustable for hydraulic preload, rebound and compression damping. There also is an increase in rear wheel travel from 50.8mm to 81.2mm without compromising the Sportster S’ 765mm seat height. At the front, the 43mm inverted forks have been revised to complement the rear. It is also adjustable for compression, rebound damping and spring preload. The travel at the front stands at 91.4mm.
Other changes to the 2025 Harley-Davidson Sportster S include two new paint options- Brilliant Red and Mystic Shift that are offered alongside the Vivid Black and Billiard Grey paint schemes. It retains the Revolution Max 1250T motor that churns out 121bhp and 126Nm of torque. The motor gets a blacked-out appearance while the red lettering on the cover is new and so is the medallion on the fuel tank, gloss black fuel cap and red spark plug wires.
As for features, the 2025 Harley-Davidson Sportster S comes with a 102mm TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity as well as ride modes- Sport, Road and Rain. With the motorcycle making it to international markets soon, we can expect it to reach Australia and New Zealand by mid-2025.
