• Will be based on the RS 457
  • To offer a relaxed riding position
  • Could be shown at the EICMA 2024

The teaser videos reveals some bits about the Aprilia Tuono 457. First off is the front end that looks closely similar to the older Tuono V4. It is petite and comes with those angry-looking LED DRLs. The bike also seems to get winglets like the one on the RS 457. Then, there is the semi-fairing like the Tuono 660 while the rear is like that one on the full-faired version.

Other than this, we know that the clip-ons on the RS 457 have been replaced with a single-piece handlebar that is also higher. So, the Tuono 457 is expected to offer an upright riding position- comfortable for city rides. Underneath this bodywork will be the same 457cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that churns out 46.9bhp and 43.5Nm that is likely to be tuned for lower end to mid-range punch. And the rest of the motorcycle like the twin-spar aluminum frame, USD forks and monoshock as well as the brakes and tyres will be the same as the RS 457.

Even in terms of equipment, the Aprilia Tuono 457 is unlikely to be any different. It could list the ride modes, TFT colour display with Bluetooth, traction control and ABS. Now, Aprilia is likely to display the Tuono 457 at the ongoing EICMA 2024 and we expect it to be launched in Australia and New Zealand by mid-2025 with a price slightly lower than the RS 457.
