- 2025 Aprilia Tuono V4 unveiled
- Gets new styling, electronics and more power
- Could be launched in NZ sometime next year
Aprilia has taken the wraps off the 2025 Tuono V4 and updated the naked motorcycle with essential and significant changes. These changes are similar to what the new RSV4 has received.
The motorcycle’s 1099cc V-twin now offers 5bhp more than before taking the total output to 180bhp. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox and a bi-directional quickshifter. To complement the mill is the new predictive electronics setup that analyses the speed, lean angle, and throttle position to optimize the safety aids. The Tuono V4 comes with an eight-level traction control, three-level wheelie control, as well as three engine braking maps.
Aprilia is offering the Tuono V4 is two versions- standard and Factory with the latter getting Ohlins Smart EC 2.0, launch control, predictive slide control, pit limiter, cornering lights and cruise control. In addition to all this, Aprilia has also tweaked the styling. Thanks to the bigger winglets and new panels, it now looks more aggressive. With the belly pan gone, the Tuono looks more raw. The tail section, which is the same as the RSV4, is similar to the MotoGP machine.
Now, Aprilia is expected to launch the motorcycle globally starting in December 2024, and it is likely to reach New Zealand and Australia early next year.
