• Uses a 904cc, parallel-twin engine
  • Gets decent features and tech
  • Global launch to happen this year
Benelli TRK 902 Xplorer

The Xplorer is built around a steel trellis frame and rides on a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel with cross spokes. While this is unlike other ADV motorcycles in its class, the wheels do come wrapped with Pirelli Scorpion rally tyres to make it off-road capable. Powering the Benelli TRK 90 Xplorer is a 904cc, parallel-twin engine that makes around 99bhp. This liquid-cooled motor is based on Benelli’s 754cc motor but with a bigger bore and stroke.

As for features, the 902 Xplorer gets fully-adjustable 50mm upside down forks and a monoshock with rebound and preload adjustability. These offer a good 200mm travel at both ends. You also get a TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, ABS and ride modes. With the TRK 902 Xplorer, Benelli is looking to take on the likes of the KTM 890 Adventure, BMW F900 GS and Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE.
