  • Could get the ShiftCam VVT as the S1000RR
  • Expected to be unveiled at the EICMA

The new S1000R gets a revised fascia with a split headlamp design that is low-set and looks aggressive. Some could even say it looks similar to what its competitor, the Ducati Streetfighter has. It also comes with a small air intake in between. Then, there are slight tweaks to its radiator cowls and is expected to get a different tail section too. However, the fuel tank and fenders remain the same.

That said, the leaked design image showcases conventional alloy wheels suggesting that it could be the standard variant. The upper-spec M Sport trim comes with carbon wheels and a slimmer lower section, on the current model. While there is no way to tell if the engine has been altered, we can expect the 2025 model to come with the ShiftCam VVT as the S1000RR superbike. Having said that, we will have to lay in wait to know whether BMW Motorrad has equipped the R with the same features and tech as its fully-faired sibling.

Well, we wouldn’t have to wait long as it is likely to be unveiled at the 2024 EICMA this year before making its way to global markets.
