- Ducati to race in its first Motocross World Championship
Ducati has announced that their latest motocross bike- the Desmo 450MX is coming to New Zealand and Australia. The motorcycle is scheduled to be launched in September and will carry a price tag of $16,300 in Australia and $17,793 in New Zealand.
The brand participated in the Italian Prestige MX1 and is finally making its debut at the Motorcross World Championship. The MXGP 2025 team is managed by Aruba.it- Ducati Factory MX Team and ha Jeremy Seewer and Mattia Guadagnini as riders. As for the Desmo 450MX, it is the only bike in its class with the desmodromic valve control system- a tech that Ducati has mastered from its road and racing machines.
Now, the 2025 MXGP season has already commenced earlier this month and consists of twenty races across four continents. The brand has also announced that they are also developing the new Desmo 250MX prototype that will race in the Italian MX2 Champuonship with Alessandro Lupino and Antonio Cairoli for the project.
