- New Panigale V2 confirmed
- Will be an all-new motorcycle
- Could be showcased at the 2024 EICMA
Ducati may have bid adieu to the Superquadro V2 engine with the final edition Ducati Panigale V2 which had the same mill. However, all is not lost since the Italian marquee has confirmed that an all-new V2 Panigale is on its way.
According to Ducati top-brass, the expected motorcycle will be the first completely new machine for 2025. Well, in that case, we can expect it to be showcased at the 2024 EICMA later this year. While no specs or details have been revealed yet, the new motorcycle is unlikely to exceed the capacity of its 955cc predecessor. This would be to comply with supersport regulations and ensure Ducati plays with the market interest in the category.
However, it would naturally adopt the styling and technology from its newly-renewed sibling- the Panigale V4 and V4S. The bigger Panigale received an entire overhaul with an increase in power, updated electronics and improved handling and ride with the radical new swingarm.
Apart from the new V2 Panigale, Ducati is expected to showcase some more models for the next year. A revamped Desert X or SuperSport maybe?
