Honda CB1000 Hornet

The CB1000 Hornet offers 150bhp and a little over 100Nm of torque. On the other hand, according to the documents, the CB1000SP has around 160bhp. This puts it in close contention with the Yamaha MT-10 and MT-10 SP. Now if Honda decides to keep the same tech it fitted the motorcycle with last year, the Hornet would ride on 41mm SFF-BP upside down forks and a rear shock sourced from Showa. We can also expect electronic semi-active suspension, retuned exhaust system and better brakes for the SP variant.

We won’t have to wait long for more details as the Honda CB1000 Hornet and CB1000 Hornet SP are expected to debut at the 2024 EICMA in November. It will not only compete against the Yamaha MT-10 but also the Suzuki Katana and Kawasaki Z900 in some global markets.
