- From the same brand umbrella as BSA
- Uses a 334cc, single-cylinder engine
- Unlikely to be launched in NZ
Jawa Motorcycles isn’t the first brand to come to mind when considering retro-style cruisers. However, this brand goes back to the 1920s and is now owned by Classic Legends that also has BSA in its portfolio. Now, to celebrate its modern 350, Jawa has launched the Jawa 350 Legacy Edition that takes on the Royal Enfield Classic 350 in many markets.
To begin with, the Jawa 350 Legacy Edition is a limited-edition motorcycle and only 500 of these will be produced. And to make it stand out, it gets special bits like a pillion backrest, touring visor and crash guard as standard. It also comes with a leather keychain and a scale model to complete the package.

In terms of mechanicals, there isn’t much change. The Jawa 350 continues to use a 334cc, single-cylinder engine that churns out 22.5bhp and 28.1Nm. The motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox. Its chassis is of the dual-cradle type and is suspended by telescopic forks and five-step preload adjustable shocks at the rear. The braking setup comprises of a 280mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS.
Now, while Classic Legends has brought in the BSA Goldstar to Australian and New Zealand markets, there is no word if it will introduce the Jawa brand here anytime soon.
