- Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX likely to be launched next week
- To get a bigger 1099cc engine
- No word about new tech or features
Kawasaki is expected to launch a new Ninja 1100SX for 2025 that would replace the existing Ninja 1000SX soon. The brand has put up teasers on its social networks hinting at a new launch on 1 October.
The brand had earlier filed patents in Australia for the Ninja 1100SX name as well as the Versys 1100SX. According to the patents, both motorcycles are likely to come with a bigger 1099cc, inline-four engine with 134bhp at 9,000rpm. This is lesser than what the Ninja 1000SX offers at 140bhp. However, the torque is up. The filings suggest that the new motorcycle comes with 112Nm at 7600rpm compared to the earlier 111Nm at 8,000rpm.
Moreover, the Ninja 1100SX has the same dimensions as the 1000SX. What we don’t know is if the new motorcycle comes with design changes or updates to its technology or features. But we’ll have the full details soon as it is expected to be unveiled early next week.
