• Husqvarna FC450 motocross bike unveiled
  • Is the most advanced MX bike from the brand
  • Could arrive in NZ by mid-2025

The motorcycle is adorned in a race livery complete with the Rockstar Energy, Motorex and FMF logos. It joins the lineup which includes the FC250, FC350 and standard FC450. Speaking of which, the Factory Edition is priced slightly higher than the FC450, which makes it the most expensive of the lot. Nonetheless, Husqvarna has plonked in quite a few things into the FC450 Factory Edition like the all-new Connectivity Unit Off-Road and the GPS sensor mounted on the front fender.

The CUO works with the Husqvarna smartphone app and a choice of pre-set engine maps based on pre-defined track conditions can be used through the engine section of the app. Pretty cool! Each of these maps can also be customised according to preference and saved for future reference. Riders also have the option of refining the engine braking, launch and traction control settings. The new FC450 also comes with a quickshifter as standard.

Suspension duties on the FC450 Factory Edition are done by WP XACT 48mm forks upfront with AER tech that offers more progressive end-of-stroke damping. For the rear, the motorcycle comes with a WP XACT shock with a CFD-optimised main piston and tool-free adjusters. Moreover, it gets Brembo hydraulic clutch and brake systems, Factory Racing CNC-machined triple clamps and wheelset, FMP Racing Factory 4.1 exhaust, Rekluse clutch cover and WP Factory start device to top it off.

We expect Husqvarna to introduce the new FC450 Factory Edition in New Zealand and Australia sometime by mid-2025 and we can’t wait to get our hands on it!
