- Triumph Speed Twin 1200 RS teaser video out
- Gets premium components
- Is expected to be launched by October
The Triumph Speed Twin 1200 was not on the list of motorcycles updated for 2025 a couple of months ago indicating that a refreshed model is on the charts. Now, the British manufacturer has teased the arrival of the Speed Twin 1200 RS on its social media channels while the official website shows a sign-up page. Well, we won’t have to wait long and can expect it to be launched as early as October.
Now the teaser video only reveals bits of the upcoming motorcycle and leaves the rest to the imagination. We know that the Speed Twin 1200 RS will get an orange paint with black and white highlights and a silver fender. The ‘RS’ on the fuel tank distinguishes it from the standard model. Other than that, the headlamp mount is slightly different and appears shorter while the muffler gets a new design.
Moreover, the upcoming Triumph Speed Twin 1200 RS will also receive a Brembo master cylinder along with what looks like Brembo M50 Monobloc callipers. Keeping in tune with the ‘RS’ tag, the motorcycle would also come with golden Marzocchi forks as seen in the teaser video. Other than these cosmetic changes, the new Speed Twin 1200 RS’ 1200cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin is also expected to offer more power. Currently, it offers 103bhp and 112Nm of torque.
With the Thruxton RS bid adieu with the Final Edition model, the new Speed Twin 1200 RS could take its place. That is until Triumph decides to bring in the updated version of the former sometime later.
