- Comes with luggage as standard
- Powered by a 904cc, parallel-twin engine
- Could spawn a Benelli version
QJMotor, the parent company of Benelli has recently introduced the SRT 900 SX- a new middleweight adventure-touring motorcycle that will be launched overseas in the coming months. The ADV looks similar to the Benelli TRK 702 that is available in New Zealand but packs a bigger engine and features.

Powering the motorcycle is a 904cc, parallel-twin engine that churns out 95bhp at 9,000rpm and 90Nm at 6500rpm. It complies with Euro 5+ standards and uses a steel tubular frame with an aluminium swingarm complete with 19/17-inch tubeless cross spoke wheel combo. While suspension specs are yet to be revealed, the QJMotor SRT 900 SX comes with an 835mm seat height. Braking on the other hand is handled by twin 320mm Brembo discs at the front and a 260mm disc at the rear.
As for features, it gets a large TFT display, full-LED lighting and other connectivity features. Now, at 263kg, the SRT 900 SX is heavy and misses out on adjustable rider aids too. Nonetheless, the company seems to have tried to compensate by offering aluminium top case and panniers as standard.
Now, what is interesting is that while the motorcycle is unlikely to make its way to many markets including Australia and New Zealand as a QJMotor product, it is likely to be spawned into a Benelli and offered here. Given the specs and design, it shouldn’t be a challenge to do so.
