- Royal Enfield sold 1.09 million motorcycles

Royal Enfield has had an incredible financial year 2024. The manufacturer has announced that it crossed the one million annual motorcycle sales for the first time in history.
The brand has sold 1.09 million motorcycles for the year ending March 31, 2025, marking an 11 per cent increase over the previous fiscal year. That said, March 2025 itself, for Royal Enfield marked a 34 per cent surge in sales and a 37 per cent rise in exports. The Asia Pacific region also was a vital contributor with a 13 per cent increase year-on-year. Royal Enfield has strengthened its reach in markets like New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, Japan and Malaysia.

Now, the hunter 350 has surpassed 500,000 units sold since its launch in 2022 while the Super Meteor 650 has a sale of 50,000 units. Other than sales, Royal Enfield also inaugurated its first CKD or completely knocked down assemble plant outside of India, in Thailand that is able to produce 30,000 units in a year. It also now has a manufacturing unit in Bangladesh with the 350 range- Hunter 350, Meteor 450, Classic 350 and Bullet 350- being produced there. Moreover, Royal Enfield will soon announce its new CKD facility in Brazil.
The latest launches in New Zealand are the Guerilla 450 and the Classic 650 as well as the Classic 350 not far behind. And as the brand celebrates its 125th anniversary, we can expect some new and special models to come too. However, we are eagerly awaiting the new Himalayan 750 that has been spotted on test and is expected to make its debut by the end of 2025.
