To begin with, the motorcycle looks almost production-ready and aligns with the news that it could make its debut on 4 November. In terms of design, it looks minimal and almost resembles the RE125 Flying Flea from WW2. So, you have the curved ‘tank’ girder forks, thick levers and chrome mirrors. The LED headlamp seems to be picked up from the Super Meteor 650. That said, the motorcycle is also expected to be called the Flying Flea since Royal Enfield filed patents for the name earlier this year.

While technical details are still to be uncovered, we can expect 120-150km of range and a 100kmph top-speed that would ensure quick charge time. The battery pack is likely to be fixed too. Now, the Flying Flea looks to be accessible to all riders with a low seat height. It will also come with a pillion seat unlike most of its rivals in the segment. As for features, there could be a turn-by-turn navigation system embedded in the round display.

As for pricing, we could expect it to be slightly more expensive than Royal Enfield’s most affordable motorcycle- the Hunter 350. Will it make its way to Australia and New Zealand? Of course, it will. We expect it to be available here sometime early next year.
