- Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 now available in a new colour
- Gets tubeless tyres as standard
- Pre-orders for the motorcycle are now open
The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is now available in the Kamet White colour in New Zealand. It comes with a sticker price of $9,990 which is much higher than the base colour option at $9,190. However, there is a plus to the uptick in pricing.
Unlike the other paint options, the Himalayan 450 in Kamet White comes with tubeless tyres as standard fitment. While the colour scheme resembles that of snow camouflage, the motorcycle is the same in terms of features, engine and mechanicals. So, it comes with a 452cc, single-cylinder engine that is liquid-cooled. Called the ‘Sherpa’, the engine churns out 39.5bhp at 8,000rpm and 40Nm at 5,500rpm. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox and uses a ride-by-wire throttle system.
That said, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 offers features like a 21/17-inch spoke wheel combo with dual-sport tyres, full-LED lighting and switchable ABS. You also get the brand’s Google-powered Tripper navigation system that lets the rider pair their smartphone via Bluetooth.
Royal Enfield has said that deliveries of the Kamet White colour model will commence by the end of September 2024. Well, we have been riding another 450cc adventure motorcycle from CFMoto. Head on to the BRM Instagram page to find out more!
