By the looks of it, this Himalayan looks production-ready. However, we can only expect it to be officially ready for the market by 2026. While Royal Enfield is calling it Project R2G, the motorcycle is expected to be the Himalayan 750. That said, it will likely come powered by a 750cc, parallel-twin engine derived from the brand’s existing 650cc twin. The increase in displacement would result in an added 7-8bhp over the 650’s 47bhp and 52Nm.

The spy images of the Himalayan 750 reveal that it rides on a 19-17-inch spoke wheel setup suspended by upside-down forks and a monoshock; both are likely to be adjustable in the production-spec. Adding to that, the braking setup which consists of twin discs up front is a first for RE.

Getting to the design, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 comes with a slim silhouette similar to that of the Himalayan 450. However, it distinguishes itself with the semi-fairing and the exclusion of the high-set fender. It also seems to get a taller windscreen, chunkier front fender, huge bash plate and a revised sub-frame too. As for features, it will not only have the switchable ABS, TFT screen with connectivity and full-LED lighting, it is safe for us to assume that Royal Enfield would be working on introducing more rider aids.

With the Himalayan 750 expected to be introduced later this year or by early 2026, it is likely to make its way to New Zealand and Australia a few months after its debut.
