- Triumph Scrambler 400X to get cross-spoke wheels
- No changes to the engine or suspension
- Could be launched in the next few months
Triumph Motorcycles’ smallest motorcycle in its scrambler range, the Scrambler 400X, is likely to have cross-spoke wheels soon. The motorcycle has been spotted testing and could receive the upgrade in the next few months.

The cross-spoke wheels are wrapped with tubeless tyres, making it much more convenient to repair a puncture. That said, the inclusion of the wheels would make the Scrambler 400X much more versatile than the current version’s alloy wheel fitment. Well, we are expecting Triumph to offer the cross-spoke wheels as an optional accessory. Other than this change, the Triumph Scrambler 400X is expected to be the same. It will continue with the 398cc, single-cylinder engine that churns out 39.5bhp and 37.5Nm. the motor is linked to a six-speed gearbox.

Now, it is interesting to know that when the updated Scrambler 400X is launched, it would be the third motorcycle in its category to come with cross-spoke wheels apart from the new KTM 390 Adventure and Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.
