Upcoming CFMoto 750SR to come with more aero!

  • CFMoto 750SR new patents filed
  • Gets more aero, new colour
  • Could be launched at 2025 EICMA

The upcoming CFMoto 750SR is no secret with the motorcycle being revealed in type-approval documents filed in China a few weeks ago. However, new patents highlight some more details of the 750SR that is expected to make its debut by the end of 2025.

CFMoto 750SR

To begin with, the new 750SR looks more aggressive than the 675R that we have on sale in New Zealand currently. It comes with a large winglet, a chunky yet stubby tail section and twin pipes. While the previous image revealed its single-sided swingarm and exposed wheel, the new image shows that the bike will get a rear-wheel aero, likely as an optional extra. This isn’t only a cosmetic upgrade, as the patent says the wheel cover reduces turbulence and provides better heat dissipation for the rear brake. This would result in less drag, better economy and more high-speed stability.

In addition to this, the patent also shows the 750SR in a new black and silver paint scheme as compared to the white and silver combination from the earlier image. Now, what we also know is that the CFMoto 750SR will use a 749cc, four-cylinder motor that is rated at 110bhp as of now.

It will weigh around 213kg and have a claimed top-speed of 230kmph. The list of features would include dual-channel ABS, rear-wheel lift control, ride modes and traction control as well as USD forks and radially-mounted callipers from Brembo with cooling ducts. We can expect CFMoto to showcase the new 750SR by the end of the year and make its way to NZ and AUS sometime in 202
